Product Description

Rotary Disc Vacuum Filter consists of a series of horizontally mounted rotary filter discs, each rotary disc consists of a combination of plural fan-shaped filter plate, the disc is equipped with easily removable fibre filter cloth, the filter pore size of the cloth is 5~8um.
The operation status of Rotary Disc Vacuum Filter includes: Filtration, Backwashing and Sludge Draining.

Sewage enters the filter tank by gravity flow, and the filter tank is equipped with a water cloth weir. The filter cloth is fully submerged, the effluent enters through the outside of the filter cloth, the filtrate is collected through a hollow pipe, and the gravity flow is discharged out of the filter tank through the outlet weir. The whole process is continuous.

Backwashing
Some of the sludge in the filtration is adsorbed on the outside of the filter cloth, gradually forming a sludge layer. As the sludge accumulates on the filter cloth, the resistance of the filter cloth to filtration increases, the water level in the filter tank gradually rises and the cleaning programme is activated. During cleaning, the tank can be filtered continuously.
During filtration, the filter carousel is static, which facilitates the deposition of sludge on the bottom of the tank. During cleaning, the filter carousel rotates at a speed of 1 rpm/2 min. The suction pump sucks the surface of the filter cloth under negative pressure, removing the sludge particles accumulated on the cloth and restoring the filtering capacity of the fibre filter cloth.

Sludge Draining
The fibre carousel filtration tank has a bucket shaped pool bottom under the filter carousel to facilitate the collection of sludge from the bottom of the tank. The deposition of sludge at the bottom of the pool reduces the amount of sludge on the filter cloth, which can extend the filtration time and reduce the amount of backwash water. After a set time period, the PLC starts the sludge discharge pump and returns the sludge to the plant drainage system through the perforated sludge discharge pipe at the bottom of the pool. Among them, the sludge discharge interval time and the sludge discharge calendar time can be adjusted.

Adopting special preparation technology, strong impact resistance, fibre does not fall off. High strength of filter cloth, wet strength and dry strength are basically the same.
High filtration precision, microfiltration filtration diameter 5-20μm, can be selected according to need.
Fibre surface is smooth, dirt is easy to fall off, corrosion resistance, no mould.
Excellent elasticity, almost complete recovery after elongation.
